Following careful consideration, and in light of the recent announcement by the Prime Minister and Public Health England, South Hill Park Arts Centre has taken the difficult decision to cancel all performances, cinema screenings and courses/workshops from Wednesday 18 March until Sunday 5 April (but may be extended to follow government advice). These are not decisions we have taken lightly but the welfare of our patrons, performers, artists, staff and volunteers is our top priority. ALL BOOKINGS FOR FUTURE SHOWS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED. In the second when courtier’s daughter Anne catches the attention of the married king during a court masque by throwing an orange at him, a chaos of religious controversy begins. 16/03/2020 to 18/09/2020 THE MILL THEATRE, SONNING - CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
 THE MILL AT SONNING

NOTE FROM MANAGER SALLY HUGHES: As you know all theatres have been advised to close by The Government. The Coronavirus epidemic has put into jeopardy the hard work done by the entire Mill team on stage, back of house, catering, Box Office and every element of what we do. None of us know how long this virus will last and affect our social behaviour. But I do know that I want The Mill to survive for your entertainment after it is all over. Therefore I would ask you to take a credit for your ticket to help us through this difficult time. The plays that you have booked for will be put on at a later date. Your ticket will be put in a credit file and can be used for that later date - or another production. I will be working with my Box Office team every day and we will be calling you a week before the date you have booked to discuss your tickets.

16/03/2020 to 27/09/2020 CORN EXCHANGE THEATRE, NEWBURY - CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
 CORN EXCHANGE, NEWBURY

On 16 March, advice from the UK government around managing Covid-19 changed very significantly. Following the Prime Minister’s briefing, we have made the difficult decision to announce that from Tuesday 17 March the Corn Exchange and the Learning Centre will close until further notice. These are not decisions that we have taken lightly, but the safety of our participants, volunteers, performers, artists, audience members and staff members is paramount to us as we navigate these unprecedented times. We are closely following government advice and will reopen as soon as possible. We understand you may be disappointed if you have booked to see a show or film or have signed up to a workshop or class during this period. As a charity, the financial implications of this closure are huge. We will be offering refunds, but we need the support of our audiences to get us through these difficult times. If you can afford to consider donating the cost of your tickets to the Corn Exchange, we would be truly grateful.

16/03/2020 to 28/12/2020 RISING SUN ARTS CENTRE, READING - CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
 RISING SUN ARTS CENTRE

Following the Government announcement on 16 March regarding measures to combat the COVID-19 virus The Rising Sun has taken the decision to temporarily suspend all activity at the Arts Centre. This will affect all events, classes, projects and room hires. We are liaising with promoters, artists, workshop leaders and partner organisations to reschedule events or hold space for their return. The necessity of closing arts and music venues – especially small, community focused, independent venues has potentially catastrophic consequences for their survival and for the service they provide to creative communities, ground level cultural activities and emerging artists and bands.  THEATRE ROYAL, WINDSOR

Theatre Royal Windsor is following the latest advice of the Government and as a result, sadly, we will be closed to the public from Monday 16 March 2020. At present, this week’s performances of The Sleeping Beauty are all therefore cancelled, and we are currently awaiting further guidance moving forwards. Our Box Office Team have begun contacting bookers who were due to attend performances of The Sleeping Beauty this week, and then will continue to contact bookers for events and performances affected during the coming weeks. We will be doing this in chronological order – on a show by show basis. We are working hard to reschedule performances and events where possible and where we are successful your tickets will be transferred to the new dates and we will contact you to inform you and confirm you are happy with this.
