19/07/2018 to 21/07/2018 LA BELLE HELENE - BY OFFENBACH

Like Orpheus in the Underworld, this rarely performed operetta is an irreverent and hilarious take on Greek mythology and the scurrilous goings-on that led to the Trojan wars. It's the story of Paris and Helen and her abduction by him disguised as a shepherd. Lots of melody and a zany plot, it's ideal for a warm summer evening and afternoon providing fun and laughter. We guarantee no dead bodies!!! Picnic Glyndebourne style in the grounds before the evening performances on the Thursday and Friday and matinee performance on Saturday.
Reddam House School Theatre (formerly Bearwood College), Winnersh RG41 5BG
